Re: Bulk Order
But who knew? No-one had produced a tiny cheap device like this so no-one knew that the demand would be so high. Anyone who says otherwise is guessing with 20:20 hindsight. Sorry, I didn't mean my post to be an attack. What I meant was there was this HUGE untapped market out there for exactly what ...

Re: Bulk Order
TBH, the fact we should have 500k in the field by September I find faintly miraculous given the original estimates! In no-ones wildest dreams did these sort of figures feature. The problem with the Raspberry Pi foundation was that there is a want for small cheap and powerful computers. This is evid...

Re: RS: So close but so far ....
Trevor: to you point about orders not completing, I have read here that if you wait an hour and try again then your auth code will be valid again. I was lucky that I was able to go to my history and go back one step and try again :) So now I have some Raspberry Pi being baked for me. Though I did h...

Re: Invitation to order from RS
Thank you for your Raspberry Pi order, your order reference number is: 5541
So they are ticking over quite fast. I also got the error message though earlier in the process.

Re: RS: So close but so far ....
All is well :D Pro tip: Don't close the window and try the auth code. It will state it is invalid. Thankfully I was able to go to my history and reopen the step before the error message, and it all went through. So I guess the server is getting smashed. Now I know why I am up at 11.30pm :D I'm so ex...

Just received my 'You can order' email from RS
Though when I get to the user registration section, I get an error screen.
Have I lost access to the activation code I received in my email? Or will it still be there tomorrow when I try again?

Are you talking about the 'demo' scene?
If so have a look at this - http://awards.scene.org/index.php I am sure you can add a category.

The problem is I am having to consider bidding for this because I am trying to present the device to an Australia wide education conference though was not considered worthy enough to get one in the first batch.
