Net neutrality discussion

The vote to repeal net neutrality has just gone through the FCC, didn't see a thread for this, so I made this one. Feel free to state your opinions/arguments on the matter. My opinion? I don't really care. Once the ISPs realize they will be getting more customers from other ISPs by keeping the same ...

Re: The Internet - IT Crowd case

I would like to turn the Internet (a black box) into a case for my raspberry pi. Lot of room for expansion. It's my first raspberry pi project. Ideally I would want the ethernet and USB ports flush against the side of the case. I'm going to dremel out holes for the ports. I'd like to get the HDMI a...

Thanks scotty101, I have been a Computer Science teacher for 20years from KS1,2,3,4 and 5! I was wondering what other teachers did for a living in the classroom. I have been a member of Barefoot and CAS so have been stealing their lessons for a couple of years. You can check some of the photos from...

Which distro for running KODI?

Running Kodi on RetroPie for a few months now, but since the v17 update nothing is working properly anymore. I don't really use the emulation features that RetroPie offers. I'm looking for a distro that still allows me to have sudo/apt-get access so that I can set up MySQL/run other things as well. ...

Re: using an iphone as hotspot with raspberry pi2

If you are trying to use it with a laptop, plug your iPhone into your Pi via the charging cable. Turn on your hotspot. Your Pi should detect it as Ethernet, and your laptop should be able to connect as normal through Wireless.
