Thanks again....unfortunately I think this type of project, in the way we want to implement it, is beyond us as beginners. We were hoping to get the key functions of an audio player (ON/OFF/VOL/BACK/FORWARD) onto just three controls, plus being portable. As soon as more controls are added an elderly...

FM81 - thanks so much for the reply and all the information. I am maybe being too worried about LiPo, if i buy a quality charging component the device should be chargeable unattended. This will be in a nursing home or person's house where they need or a nurse need to leave it charging with a blinkin...
