Re: ImportError: No module named 'sdl2'

even though there's no "python2", There *is*. But python points to the '2' version. The actual programs are (on Stretch) python2.7 and python3.5 All others are just symbolic links to these two [email protected]:~$ ls -l /usr/bin/python* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 2017-01-24 13:00 /usr/bin/python -> python2....

Are you using python 2 or 3?
You installed the module for Python 2, so if you're using v3 your module will not be found.

I meant:

bazel-0.22.0-installer-linux-x86_64.sh
And that seems to be for computers with Intel processors, not for the Pi which uses Arm processors.

Re: Can't connect to wifi but wifi country has been set properly (Pi 3 Model B+)

i have exactly the same problem - but in austria. my configuration of wpa_supplicant.conf worked just fine in the beginning. it was set up in the same way as other users posted before. then, after rebooting i got the "no wifi country set" error. So what's in your /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant....

Re: i2c-dev does not create an i2c-* in /dev

Which OS / kernel version?
I don't see i2c_bcm2708, but i2c_2835 on both Pi 0 and 3b
Don't know if it makes a difference though...

If you're not running standard Raspbian (Lite) using an RPF image then I would suggest you take your spare SD card and install that first.
Enable i2c using raspi-config

Re: problems w some code

How exactly did you install the module (give the full command(s), please) .
Did you install it for the correct python version?
It's not clear which Python version you're using. The shebang seems to be set up for v2, but the error msg is from v3
So additional question is: how do start the script?

Re: New Raspberry Pi Temp sensor Project - How to & Parts?

You could, for example, use ESP8266s as the sender (with the temp sensors connected to it). If you use the deep sleep/low power mode of the ESPs you can power the modules off a battery for a long time. Then you use MQTT to transfer the data over the network (wifi) to the Pi (which would need to have...

Re: Importing matplotlib error in Python3

So you installed your modules locally (as user pi). Do you use 'sudo' to start your script? In that case you need to re-install your modules globally (using 'sudo pip3') or start your script as the standard user (leaving out the sudo), which is the preferred method anyway. BTW: there are modules tha...

Re: Unable to run a file at boot

used the cmd pip3 install blynk-library-python to install it. . You installed your module as user pi and that means it's only available for that user. If you start it from rc.local you're running it as root and the script cannot find locally installed modules Uninstall the module and use 'sudo pip3...

Perhaps the OP is using a version of Rasbian without a desktop and/or boots up in command line mode. Since I always boot up to the desktop, I haven't tried to configure autologin for command mode.
