You're still trying to work with programs/modules for Intel/AMD processors.
That will not work on a Pi

Re: Mounting SD card reader (ubuntu mate)

Is your SD card reader recognised?
Check with

Code: Select all

lsusb
And / or boot with the reader disconnected. After booting plug it in (with the SD card in it) and then check the log with

Code: Select all

dmesg
If it works then you should see the messages that the USB device is recognised, etc

Also consider the DS18B20 which requires 3 wires and a pull up resistor, is very easy to wire up to the GPIO port and with good software support via Device Tree.
Texy
This is incorrect.
Please clarify which part is incorrect and why you think that's the case

It's not just about 32 or 64 bits, it's about processor architecture: Arm vs AMD/Intel
You're trying to install an AMD/Intel version on an Arm computer

In order to connect with Wi-Fi you must turn it on first...
Scuse me? wifi is turned on by default on all RPF Raspberry Pi images...
The only thing you need is to provide the information to make it connect on boot and that's what the wpa_supplicant.conf is for.

If you did it manually using an editor then use the same method to remove it.
Otherwise you have to tell us more...

Maybe you can tell us what exactly you installed and if you followed a specific tutorial.

Just copying that config.txt to the FAT partition of a Raspbian SD card, should be sufficient to get the display part working.
I would remove the last line ('device_tree=')
