Re: Error check the log for more information

Best to post this on the Kodi forum: https://forum.kodi.tv/

If you installed a distro like LibreElec or OSMC then you could also try their forums
https://forum.libreelec.tv/
https://discourse.osmc.tv/

You will have to give them some more info, like exactly what you are trying to play, etc

Do you need to know how to write codes & scripts & programs before starting a project? Depends on the project. With some projects it could be an advantage that you have some coding experience. Re: PiScope Installation Problem

Most likely cause is that pigpiod is already running.
It's normally activated through raspi-config (or its GUI version)

If that's the case then you don't have to start it manually.

To install Mariadb: (i downloaded and extracted successfully to /opt) then.. apt-get update && apt-get install mariadb-server So you're on Stretch but downloaded a non-Stretch version from somewhere? (Raspbian Stretch version is 10.1) Why? And did you also download the newer version's dependencies?

Did you make the file executable?

Code: Select all

chmod +x createdirectories.sh
BTW: do you really need to run that script as root? It will set 'root' as the owner instead of user 'pi'

These have been around for years.
I would class them as clones, not fakes.

Note that you will only find v1 cameras. RPF added encryption to the v2 camera and so far that has not been beaten.

Irrelevant for the OP's issue. In this case the sd card had insufficient disk space.
