Re: SSH Security Warning - My Suggestion

I don't see "pi ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL" in that file so I can't 'change' it. The only uncommented lines are root ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL %sudo ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL Do I just add it or am I in the wrong place? Thank you! The method has changed; the sudoers file is not used anymore. Package 'raspberrypi-sys-...

That's impossible... Wheezy is old and stale and smelly and has been for a long time.

Hi pedromatos, I found your post because I have the same problem. Could you tell me which script you used? Your link just points at a 404, and looking at the articles I only found Jessie images... Re: Why so many packages marked Obsolete?

Those packages mostly seem to be from the RPF repo, not the Raspbian repo. Did you update the RPF repository source list to stretch before upgrading? /etc/apt/sources.list.d/raspi.list should contain deb http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/ stretch main ui # Uncomment line below then 'apt-get upda...

Troubleshooting video should start with

Are you sure it's the monitor that's the 'defining' factor? Have you tried it with keyboard / mouse but without screen? And vice versa? If it's the screen then it could maybe be power. There have been a few cases where a Pi only worked correctly when a screen was plugged in. So next questions: * wha...

Re: The upgrade to Stretch 'staging' option ? (From Jessie)

What is 'staging'? Why don't I need it now? First of all: the 'staging' repo was in the RPF repository, not in the Raspbian repo Definition (from http://archiva.apache.org/docs/1.4-M4/adminguide/staging-repositories.html) A staging repository is a repository you use to stage a release (while it und...

Re: When will there be a patch for the bad BlueBorne exploit?

I don't know if these address this issue, I thought it was a kernel thing. See the two links to CVE-2017-1000250 and 1000251 in top post: it's Bluez (fixed and also in Rapsbian repo) and kernel (probably not yet fixed in RPF kernels) Edit: it's actually in 4.9.50, but that is only available through...

Re: ik krijg tightvncserver niet werkend

Als het om realvnc gaat is de eenvoudigste methode via de configuratie utilities (als in mijn eerdere post beschreven).
Handmatig via de CLI:

Code: Select all

sudo systemctl enable vncserver-x11-serviced.service
sudo systemctl start vncserver-x11-serviced.service

I have had this problem when using a file edited in window. if you are using window to edit try edit it through Geany or python IDLE. There's nothing Windows specific about it. It depends on your editor settings. Any halfway decent editor (Windows or other) will let you set how you want to deal wit...

Re: Can I move the sd-card from rpi2 to rpi3

It depends... If you installed a bare image and you regularly updated / upgraded it will probably work. If it's a Noobs install and it's a Noobs version from before the Pi3 was released it will not work. So the best thing to do is to just try it. If it doesn't work then you should grab your spare SD...
