If you want run Android try this: http://www.tesco.com/direct/hudl2-8-wi-fi-tablet/454-7907.prd click the "Add to Basket" button and then head to the checkout. If you want to run Android on your RPi1 or RPi2 then forget it, best of luck porting the Android stuff. Couldn't you just ignore this subfo...

Re: Raspberry Pi google coder shutdown

Because unlike a Mac the R-PI's GUI (what you call the "website like platform") is simply just one of the shells running on a Linux OS. Exiting the GUI would simply drop you back into the text based default shell, from where you can issue the sudo shutdown -h now command. You misunderstood the OP. ...

Re: Broadcom have already discontiued developing android on

Getting Android to run on the Pi is like trying to run XP on a 486 Don't be stupid. I already own a smart phone with ARMv6 600MHz processor so I can vouch for the fact that even something as basic as Android 2.3 is going to be borderline usable. Only difference: the R-Pi's processor is a 700 MHz on...

Red and blue colours are swapped in some applications

It seems like that in some applications, red and blue are swapped when framebuffer_depth=32 and framebuffer_ignore_alpha=1 is added to the config.txt file. It happens for me in these applications: - Wolfram Mathematica - LibreOffice Impress - only in fullscreen slideshow mode (F5) I'm using the late...

Transcoding and streaming mp4 (h264 video) file

Is it possible to convert a mp4 video file that contains h264 video to a lower resolution one on-the-fly and stream to another computer using Gstreamer-1.0 and its omxh264enc module? If yes, then how?

YAY! Arrow keys now work perfectly! :D If I run Mupen64plus from the console, it runs full screen. I am using a Full HD monitor, so does the video plugin render at 1920x1080? Is it possible to change the resolution the graphics are rendered at? Maybe it would be a good idea to implement rendering at...

Mario 64 works great out of the box, although Mario's voice is slow and low-pitched. THPS3 works with ScreenUpdateSetting set to 4 ...

Scancodes should be the same in console and under X. Keycodes...

According to Toshiba's website, that specific card should work with a "Conv. SD Interface", so it should work with the Pi.

That's true.
I installed libsdl1.2-dev from a .deb package, and forgot to install the dependencies (which include libglu1-mesa-dev and libx11-dev, for example). D'oh! ;)
