Re: fruitbox MP3 jukebox

Update I installed Raspian Stretch Lite, and its still giving me the same error. I ordered the 7" screen and hopefully that will solve it. The software works its just not recognizing my keyboard and I can't configure it to recognize the GPIO pins. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: fruitbox MP3 jukebox

EDIT: Never mind! Got everything working! My next question is, what keyboard encoder did you use for the buttons? Or rather how would you reccomend/ what would you reccomend for simple button controls? I was thinking a few arcade buttons. How many buttons would you suggest for simple controls? I kno...

Glorified, Coin operated reflex game help

I've always wanted to build one of those old fortune teller machines. Like Zoltar in Big (the Tom Hanks Movie) I noticed that in the movie Zoltar was an actual skill game, so I thought I'd try that out. to keep things simple the ONLY thing animated is lights. I.E. no moving figure parts. There will ...

First thing I need to get is a small LCD screen. About 5 inches. I've looked at a LOT of them. Can anyone reccomed the cheapest, simplest one to use...

Mini Zoltar esque Coin Operated Machnine Help

So I plan to build a mini homage to Zoltar (the fortune telling machine) Using a raspberry Pi. My plan is, instead of having an animatronic character with complacated servos, I had the idea of having a screen play a short video clip of a puppet giving you your foutune every time a coin is inserted. ...

I've decided to go for the gusto and include a gumball mech. I went on another forum and they gave me a great example of a servo controll...

Re: Help with a Video Carnival Information Video Booth

I briefly looked it over, and it seems perfect. The Only thing is how would I trigger the coin mech? In other words, the slideshow would autoboot once the pi is turned on, it would loop infanatly but when you insert a coin it plays a short video then goes back to looping. Not sure how that would wor...

Help with a Video Carnival Information Video Booth

Hi, First Time poster, and forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this. So originally I wanted to build an arcade machine. So I got the raspberry pi and an 8" monitor. I eventually scrapped that idea. Instead I planned to build a machine similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qicfZD...
