Quite a few of the smaller DVRs require ActiveX to be running on the Browser, in my case this limits access to Internet Explorer only, I'm not sure if your DVR is the same or if those browsers support ActiveX but it might give you a lead.

Sorry my Dutch is poor but Google translate seems to be saying you are asking if the Pi zero will transmit on 433MHz (Ham Band)? I can't be certain about the Zero but the standard (Later) Pi will transmit (and receive) at those frequencies using the wire on a GPIO Pin trick shown in the video, but....

Is the Yellow wire supposed to link the two pads on the RHS of the Display PCB?

The Red Link wire also appears to be very close if not shorting to the print beneath, north of the pad it is soldered onto.

There are plenty of other ideas above all with different viable solutions to keep you busy.

But.. a software solution after all, obvious I suppose, hope that sorts your problem.

The only way to be certain that the random triggering is coming from the input itself would be to monitor the pin with a Digital probe or similar. You could always try programming and using a different I/O Pin? If it is picking up Noise, that could be coming from anywhere.. and a Radio receiver mig...

I expect that you know you can "see" IR LED(s) using the camera on your phone?

The ones used in remote controls usually have a good output, actual power unknown, usually from a 3V Power supply from AA or AAA cells.

But if you have a scrap Remote kicking about... Robert could be yer mother's brother.

Best bet then would be to break into the incoming power wire and feed other items straight from the incoming power before the Pi and fuse/protect those external item(s) separately.

Testing the screen may only be possible using another Pi, but someone else might know of a standalone test for it..

But it would be handy to know those PSU readings if you get a chance.
