Re: WPA works but not WEP

If you want to be mobile with you pi you can download an useful GUI package that works under debian for your Rpi : (apt-get install network-config ) It lets you scan the networks available ( So you can see what's in range and know the ssid name) and you can connect to unsecured + WPA + WEP networks ...

Re: VNC between laptop & pi wirelessly without a router

Hello , Ad-hoc is when you have a pc that is used as router as being wired to an Internet connection and streaming the signal to other devices in the network . I think it might be possible but you need to find a tweak to use the pc as a router that will give the pi a local ip address , but i don't k...

Re: Edimax wifi adapter

by texy » Sun Jun 24, 2012 6:03 pm FYI, the 75mb partition you can see via Windows IS the /boot/ directory. So you could of copied it in windows, then put the SD card in your pi, go to the /boot directory, and you would see the file. Hope this helps, Texy Nope , I couldn't write in the partition si...

Re: Dual/tripple SD boot

Ah :(

Maybe there is a way of doing it by creating a separate partition for the Raspbmc that the Bootloader will fetch and perhaps not in the root partition (reformatting problem).

Anyway i don't know if you can have both separate on the SD card and launch one of them by a command line.

Re: Dual/tripple SD boot

Nice Work ! The problem is that my Windows PC doesn't recognise the Image of my SD card so i can copy back my Debian files after installing the Bootloader :( Do you think i could keep the partitions how they are (I've resized the partitions with a 128MB swap) and keep my files if there is a way to h...

How about just releasing an image without Frontier? I'd love to take the Neo Geo emulator out for a spin
Same here !

If you successfully ported the Gmenu2x to the Rpi that means we can also install the other emulators that work with the GP2X maybe?

Re: Python with GPIO as Input

Some USB AC/D like expEYES can go up to a couple hundred hertz , which is quite nice for usb ( and you can easily program with it in python ) however you can't have more than 5V input. for what you said about the GPIO means that you can easily use it monitor a TTL signal if you do sequential logic ,...

Python with GPIO as Input

Hi everyone , I saw that the Quick2wire GPIO library had some functions offering "input" using GPIO serial ports, does anyone know what values you can collect with this? (Current , voltage ? ) If so it would be easy to write a quick script to use the pi as an Oscilloscope without using an expansive ...

Raspberry Pi Shutting down after 1 minute

Hello everyone , I accidentally broke the C6 capacitor when i was putting the Rpi in it's case . I re-soldered it , however the display seems to shutdown within a minute after it boots. I'm using a Blackberry 700mA 5V with an USB cable plugged into it ( resistance ~1ohm ) to power my Rpi. I've also ...
