Sorry typo should be 2 pins missing. Typing this on an Android device and big fingers/ small touch screen causes the odd silly error.

Re: Reverting to a previous version of NOOBs

Thanks for the comments, The Pi in question will be used in a stand alone situation and almost bare bones, just the zero, 2 sensors(RFID and temp), rtc module and a display. I was going to use an Arduino Nano but thought using a Zero might be less power hungry. Maybe bin the zero and go back to the ...

Reverting to a previous version of NOOBs

Is there are problem with reverting to a previous version of Noobs if you reformat a SD card and have kept the original zip file? The reason I am asking is people seem to have problems with updated versions at first and if you know the older version works for what you want, provided you have a copy ...

Use the 2.5Amp PSU not a mobile phone one. Most android tablets etc use a 2 Amp charger so that would be better than nothing.

Re: Cheapest wifi usb dongle for pi3 model B

Nothing special, I just need a normal wifi, because the basic raspberry wifi antenna is very weak about the distance for my experience. I experienced 9 raspberry with wifi and when distance was more of 5-10 meters without walls (or other obstacles) from the wifi bridge or router, I was starting the...

I know people are offering solutions but before I am say what to go for, what is the distance to router from the various pi's? Also screening like walls etc in the way, possible other obstacles could also be affecting the signal,

Re: Using same SD card in Pi Zero and Pi model A or B?

What I have done is fit a Zero4U usb expander and by careful shopping on EBAY acquired a Keyboard , USB Wi-Fi dongle, HDMI/VGA adaptor, along with a mouse from the local £ shop and a secondhand 17" monitor from a local charity shop for £5.00 Total spend including the Zero was £27.00 - I already had ...

I am sorry to say that it may just be me, but I am finding all these threads about Pi Zero pricing and availability getting boring, seems to have been going over the same stuff again and again. The product does what it says , at a price that was determined with out taxes, shipping and currency diffe...

Re: Portable Baofeng UV5R Radio Programmer

Neat idea, also if you have the appropriate cables can do other radios, CHIRP is an excellent piece of software.
Shame I will have to continue using a laptop as I can't use my mobile as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with it.
