I can confirm this behaviour and that it's only happening with preview disabled.

Raspberry schon existieren!): ssh-copy-id pi@192.168.1.162 Die...

Re: SDL 1.2 with dispmanx backend

Sounds like the libs were moved again (haven't checked since I don't have access to my pi right now and haven't updated since a couple of days now...). Did you reboot after upgrade yet or have you tried running ldconfig ? If that doesn't help you can check the (not working) binaries for missing libs...

Re: SDL 1.2 with dispmanx backend

I patched this project to keep aspect ratio some time ago, it's probably a dirty hack (I'm not really a programmer) but I works for me. I hope this helps or at least gets you in the right direction. Note: This patch will only handle horizontal padding adding bars to left/right, it was intended to di...

Re: installing SDL1.2 lib

Well there is a solution but it's not very nice... Go to the rasbian repository and find the .deb's you need/want, download them and transfer them to the pi (eg. with a usb stick). http://mirrordirector.raspbian.org/raspbian/pool/main/ On the raspberry you can install the deb's with dpkg -i <package...

This is a nice guide for using distcc + cross-compiler:

I have also run successfully a mixed environment with distcc running on 3 raspi's and a linux system running in a vm using a cross-compiler.

Re: string comparison??

Comparison of strings in C are done using the strcmp() function. http://www.elook.org/programming/c/strcmp.html Your code should rather look like this: #include <string.h> int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { char* param = argv[1]; if (strcmp(param, "test") == 0) { printf("test successful\n"); } }

As far as I'm reading my_global.h is used when compiling on windows, I don't think you need this on linux.

It's not complaining about any mysql stuff atall, it can't find my_global.h.

Re: Strange X Session Behaviour With Mac OS X X11 Server.

don't try to run lx, you'Re already running a window manager on your OSX box.
Just start the X11 application you want to use. (eg. xterm, should give you a xterm window on OSX box which runs on RPi)

You might also try to use option -X instead of -Y.

Re: A question on QT4 and paths.

You shouldn't add the header file path to your PATH variable. The PATH variable is for searching binaries (executables) not libraries or header files. You should tell your compiler to search for header files in additional paths by adding -I/path/to/your/headerfiles http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/cpp/...

Re: /opt/vc/lib no more in libraries searched paths (bug?)

I think a maybe cleaner solution is to create a file /etc/ld.so.conf.d/vc.conf
and put the path in there:

Code: Select all

echo '/opt/lib/vc' > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/vc.conf
After that you should reboot or run ldconfig.
