Re: Gameport to GPIO ?

Thanks for the precisions. I was thinking that GPIOs intergrate A to D converters, so I was thinking wrong. So one have to think about making a modules for digital gamepads, as gamecon module do for parallel ports : http://www.mjmwired.net/kernel/Documentation/input/joystick-parport.txt. PS : Do you...

Re: Gameport to GPIO ?

Thanks for your reply, I still look for a GPUI solution because :
1) Adaptators are quite expensive
2) I think some people would like the idea of GPUI interface chalenge ;)

Gameport to GPIO ?

Hi,
I wonder if there is an easy way to connect a gameport (midi) Joystick to Raspberry through GPIO pins ?
Specially, I would like to use my analogic joypads, even if it require preliminary identification of axis and butons wires ?
Any idea of a module that could do such things ?

Re: LIRC GPIO driver for homebrew adapter

Many thanks ! I'll try it as soon I receive my board...
In your blaster scheme, according to what you say in the description of the default configuration, shouldn't it be PIN11 - GPIO17 instead of PIN12 |(GPIO18) ?
