I'm afraid I'm not familiar with radios apart from WiFi and Bluetooth. I can't think of any advantage using a different frequency would have.
nevertheless our conversation did help me a lot!!! many thanks!!!

Re: omxplayer + Bluetooth = new problems... need some help

I got to "solve" the short files and real time playing issues by changing the format of the files from MP3 to OGG, that part solved the short length problem (it seems the omxplayer has no problem with short ogg files), and the second "solution" (based on Douglas6's quiestion) was to use two omxplaye...

Re: omxplayer + Bluetooth = new problems... need some help

@Douglas6, many thanks for your reply. In general, I question the suitability of Bluetooth to your goals. I have my doubts also, my initial thought was to look for some short range (up to 5 meters) analog radio transmitter/receiver that will be used for data communication between the Pi and the devi...

I'm using Pi4 4G running Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) my project is using the omxplayer to play very short mp3 files (1 second long), everything was working well until I've updated the project to play the same files to a Blue To...

Have you looked at opening a socket to the camera address? #!/usr/bin/python3 import socket import os testIP = "10.5.5.xxx" # fill in the address here s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_DGRAM) s.connect((testIP, 0)) ipaddr = s.getsockname()[0] host = socket.gethostname() print ("IP:", ip...

This is still true for the Pi 4, just comment out the line in the [pi4] section:

Code: Select all

[pi4]
# Enable DRM VC4 V3D driver on top of the dispmanx display stack
#dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d
max_framebuffers=2

THANKS!!!

Re: newbie can't get wlan1 connect to network

On Raspbian, do not configure anything in /etc/network/interfaces. Use only dhcpcd.conf. 1. Remove everything you added to the interfaces file 2. Leave /etc/dhcpcd.conf as it is. Its defaults are fine for handling the 2 wireless interfaces 3. In directory /etc/wpa_supplicant/, - rename file wpa_sup...

Why do you use sudo ? when FFmpeg tries to re-write on the same output file it needs permission 1) Are you using a proper power supply or are you using a phone charger ? I use 2amp 5v charger 2) Is the Pi 0W in a case ? (temperature!) no, when touching the processor its not hot at all 3) Are you us...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

There is currently no easy way to integrate audio in as well. Some have achieved this by using the job macro facility. So a start_vid macro is used to start an audio recording and an end_vid macro is used to stop the recording. An end_box macro is then used to run a command to integrate the audio r...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I've been successfully using "RPi Cam Web Interface" for a few days now with the Raspberry Camera module, however I do need to have audio as well, what is the best solution (if possible) to make it happen?

Thanks much for the good work!!
Cheers,
Ram.
