The Pi has loads more resources than an ardiuno. If you're making a custom device that just does one thing an arduino might be suitable. I just bought the mpeg2 Codec. It works!!!
Now I can stream from my Dreambox the .ts files (Live TV and HDD records)

Can I edit the file also with the build in Windows editor? Or is the file then for corrupted. I am asking, because thats what I have done! Well, I will edit now with nano! I hope that works...

What are save settings:
arm_freq=?
gpu_freq=?

Are there more settings to adjust?

Xbian (0.4.2) starts quick but it Freezed, after hitting some navigation buttons. Xbian 0.3.0 on the same SD Card din't Freeze!
Is that caused by the main menue? Installed Xbian 0.4.2 a few times, allways the same problem...

How should I setup a 32GB SD Card?

To write data on the card, I prefer to do that with my Windows PC. I don't know if that works, if not, then over Samba.

I bought a VAO11g Wireles Bridge. It works, but the Raspberry delivers not as much power as the Bridge needs. So I am using a externel power source. Well, its still a very easy solution!

My suggestion, why don't include some drivers, so the raspberry runs out of the box with WIFI und also some capture cards? Lets just choose the top 5 drivers!
