Re: Android Wear on Raspberry Pi

As far as I know, Android is not available for Raspberry Pi yet: http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2016/05/google-to-bring-official-android-support-to-the-raspberry-pi-3/ You can checkout other wearable projects here: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-wearable-projects-can-build-raspberry-pi/ hasnext java

Re: WebApp on Raspberry

Yes. What you need depends on the programming language you chose.

Here are good resources for getting started with Python:

Re: What would cause delay in IOT demonstrator lesson?

It depends on the amount of delay. Some guesses: background app blocking the transfer or network delay.

Re: Myqsl - Date

Which programming language are you using? You can check Internet connection continuously (with delay) and send the data using a Mysql driver for your programming language.

Re: Most wanted functions ?

OpenCV support can be interesting. Could you clarify following part?
OpenCV: I really would like to have this as modular blocks but it turns out its better to run this over a "shell" block which calls then just some Python.

Re: Augmented reality with RPi

It is possible to do interesting things with dual camera. But I am not sure about FPS. You can try yourself if you have two cameras and raspberry pi. Check following examples: https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/real-time-depth-perception-with-the-compute-module/ http://www.pyimagesearch.com/2016/01/18...

Re: Need help in building an Aquarium monitor

For getting water temperature, you can use waterproof DS18B20 sensor. Something like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shiping-30-pcs-Waterproof-DS18B20-stainless-steel-encapsulated-temperature-sensor-10M-Cable/32744200364.html http://www.java-forums.org/new-java/67228-infix-postfix-convers...

Re: Raspberry Pi play CD with python

Are you trying to write your own program? If you are not, you can try installing any linux based cd player software on Pi:
