Re: Is there a way to draw bitcoin realtime chart in ssh con

I'm not sure where you were thinking of getting the prices from (this would need to be exchange data and not from bitcoind). You could run a daily/hourly cron job as follows and write the results to a text file / database to build up some history: curl "http://converter4coin.com/api/rate?from=BTC&to...

Re: PBX server on Raspberry Pi

It works :D Registered as user: 1000 pass:1234 from a linksys PAP2, dialled 9664 to hear music. It took a bit longer than usual to connect the call but music playing OK and CPU usage on RasPi is nice and low. I'm currently working on getting FusionPBX installed and I'll post a shell script for easy ...

Re: PBX server on Raspberry Pi

I would generally recommend freeswitch, especially on low end hardware like raspi. Freeswitch is a newer project started from the ground up with some of the original asterisk developers (aimed and not making same mistakes as asterisk did :P) and in general have found that you can run 3 times as many...

Re: http redirect based load balancing for raspbian archive.

Honestly... its probably just me, I was just playing around with it on a low end server just setting it up and it started winding me up, seems too complicated for what needs to be done. Too much to go wrong. It could just be the fact that I haven't slept for over 24 hours and grumpy (google marketin...

Re: http redirect based load balancing for raspbian archive.

Looks like http.debian.net will need a bit of work for what we need.

Have you considered http://mirrorbrain.org/ (as mentioned on http.debian)?

Re: PBX server on Raspberry Pi

Ok so freeswitch isn't in the packages for raspbian. I am using raspbian hexxeh image (r3). Here are some crude instructions for my freeswitch with fusionpbx install. I'll let you know if this worked by the time I finish writing this ;) First of all after downloading freeswitch source and running th...

Re: PBX server on Raspberry Pi

freeswitch does not come with any sort of gui by default (all done in xml config files) but there are a few opensource projects such as fusionpbx or freepbx which you can use. I don't see a problem with fusion pbx running on pi (php based) but I wonder if the freeswitch package will work on the RasP...

Re: http redirect based load balancing for raspbian archive.

I know you don't want to do this in dns but I need to start playing with mydns (http://mydns-ng.com/) for another project. Essentially its a mysql backed dns server.

I wouldn't mind playing around with this. Having a read of http.debian.net now.

Re: looking for in-kind donation of a public server

Hi, We are currently looking into the possiblity of setting up special vps' on each of our nodes to provide only free capacity and bandwidth but we have to see if this is technically feasible (without affecting our customers). If we can do this we too would be happy to donate bandwidth (currently ha...

Re: looking for in-kind donation of a public server

Have you considered kimsufi.com (ovh server).

They provide 100mbps "unlimited" but if you start going crazy on the bandwidth theyll limit the server to 10mbps.

I might be able to get you a free VPS from micronetvps.com, just need to check with the boss (especially about bandwidth usage).
