I have Raspberry pi mosquitto mqtt broker installed.
Every senzor in house is on nedemcu board with lua firmware and mqtt client in lua. They communicate with raspberry pi where is one hugh python script that is my home brain. It is raspberry paho mqtt client that reeds all the topics.

You just need connect one pole of battery to relay, from other relay end connect to reststor, then from resistor to anode of diode, cathode to minus battery pole. Thanx Dougie,

It was urgent to get everything back to normal, so I returned the image from the backup.
I have made a new backup of the current status on two SD cards, so I will try these guidelines as soon as I arrive.
I will necessarily share my observations here.

MQTT cannot connect after upgrade

Hi,

today I update upgrade again and some libs MQTT are updated but my script suddenly stop to work, error is connection refuse 111.

My connect to broker is down. Client is PAHO for Python.

Any sugestion?

I do update and upgrade again, rebbot Raspberry pi and MQTT works great now.
This is first time that my Raspberry Pi Mosquitto broker was break in last 3 years...
Reboot fixed the problem. Sorry for false alarm.

MQTT client refuse to connect

Hi,

i have Jessie (yes I know is still Jessie) and update and upgrade yesterday.
Now strange is happening... My MQTT log shows client exceeded timeout, disconnecting.
What happens here?
Anyone with same problem?
