Now, I am trying to install the latest version of pvr-teleboy, but it looks the version available is still 18.0.25 from a year ago which is not functional any more. Re: [UPDATE] Kodi 18.4 Leia for Raspberry Pi 4

You shouldn't have to uninstall anything. apt will handle that for you. Just install kodi from rascas' repo. Is rascas' 18.5? I'm curious what the difference is between this thread and the link you sent me. when the pi 4 came out innocent_bystander made a Kodi Version because Rascas didn't have one...

Re: [Guide][Testing] Kodi 18.0 Leia beta versions for Raspbian Stretch!

This is great! It works finally!
My concern now is that when I tried to restore my backup profile, naturally i get a warning that this is previous version. Not sure if this will mess up everything

Re: [Guide][Testing] Kodi 18.0 Leia beta versions for Raspbian Stretch!

Both pvr-teleboy and pvr-zattoo are missing ! It would be great if you could add them.

By the way: is there any particular reason why one can not just download RC1 version from the kodi.tv/download for raspberry? Only "Guide" is available...

Re: [Guide][Testing] Kodi 18.0 Leia beta versions for Raspbian Stretch!

There are many things missing in this setup....

Code: Select all

apt-cache search kodi*
doesnt return all available addons that exist for Leia!

Re: [Guide][Testing] Kodi 18.0 Leia beta versions for Raspbian Stretch!

But now when i do apt-cache search kodi i dont get the unstable pvr of teleboy which is listed here : https://launchpad.net/%7Eteam-xbmc/+arc...

Re: [Guide][Testing] Kodi 18.0 Leia beta versions for Raspbian Stretch!

Thank you very much for your detailed post! Very stupid post here...Sorry but i think i misunderstood something! Am I supposed to do this on a raspberry that already has kodi17.3 installed or not? I did on a raspberry which had already kodi17.3 and when I started it i still get the 17.3. What do I m...

Re: Dim LEDS...many options

Ok got it. So pins 4and5 go out to whatever i want to control. Say I have a PCA9685 module that i want to control with 10V PWM. Now, correct me if i am wrong, i will connect the I2C pins of the raspberry to the optocoupler and then to the SCL and SDA inputs of PCA9685. Now the tricky part, can i con...

Re: Dim LEDS...many options

Ok, i continue...eventually someone will answer me (i hope...) i came across this http://nano-reef.pl/uploads/gallery/album_2048/gallery_10763_2048_78007.jpg which shows how to configure a 2n2222 with 10V supply and adruino to get 10V PWM. Given that I have a optoisolator 4n33 which i basically a le...

Dim LEDS...many options

Hi all, I am about to start a small project to dim/control the leds of my aquariums using the raspberry. I did a lot of reading, but I am quite inexperienced, therefore i want to make sure before i start playing with the circuits... So, I have this power supply : http://www.meanwell.com/mw_search/LP...

Re: public ip and apache server

the truth is i never checked it before... but it seems so weird... anyway i guess you are right. as long as its not accessible from outside should be fine. Any idea how such feature would be called in the router settings?
