This happens because the USB drive you are trying to change permissions on is formatted in FAT which Windows writes to rather than EXT2 which linux uses. What client is better for Rpi3? qbittorrent or transmission? I know that transmission haved issues with downloading torrent on NTFS drive.

Maybe the problem is that because you dont have NTFS-3g drivers installed into your PI. You mentioned that disk is NTFS, so installing ntfs-3g driver is good idea to try.

Better use FTP then SAMBA. SAMBA is protocol where use encryption, and you probably will get slower speeds. Use FTP for max performances.

thanks for your answer. that is answer that needed me. on my smartphone have 4 bars from 5 in the same location where is the pi. smartphones also have small and not too powerful wifi chip also. i will share my impressions soon about this.
