Thanks Notro, I haven't had a chance to get stuck into it. Work has left me too tired to focus at night. I think I saw the bit about "floating pins" in the ILI9325 datasheet, but I had forgotten about it. Will it cause any damage to the LCD or controller if they are left floating? Also, is it wrong ...

I have bit the bullet and connected the display up to the Raspberry Pi, well.. the GND and 3v3 connections. Backlight came on straight away, so it seems there may be no ability to add dimming, pity. From what I understand, LE means Latch Enable. Google tells me that it can be High or Low. What that ...

Notro, thank you for replying and sharing the links. That LCD certainly looks promising.

Hi, I have purchased an LCD display with hopes of replicating Sprites' idea (http://spritesmods.com/?art=rpi_arcade&page=2), however I am having difficulty matching the pinouts of my LCD to Sprites'. In particular, I seem to be missing the LED pins. The display is an 2.8" LCD display with an ILI9325...

They are a cheap LCD, but just don't know how to connect them, create drivers, etc. Ideas?
