Re: Rasbian broken filesystem

I tested two power supplies: the HTC power supply which came with my new HTC One (I am unsure about the current, but it should be about 1000mA) and now I use different power supply which is 1000mA (at least this is written on the box). Broken filesystem happened with both of those supplies, so there...

Re: Netsurf Framebuffer

It didn't work for me even with framebuffer_ignore_alpha=1 (i only have overscan disabled in config file and some overclock options). I had black screen and nothing more. It started workin however, when i used "-b 16" option to run it, which changes BPP to 16. There are some problems like I don't s...

Re: Rasbian broken filesystem

Oooops, the problem is back - after freezing Raspi the filesystem is corrupted again. Many files, including system libraries. Unfortunatelly the filesystem in Raspbian doesnt seem to be robust, sadly :(

Re: Rasbian broken filesystem

In the foundation's kernels, ext{2,3,4} all mount using the same (ext4) codebase. The on-disk formats are basically the same too, of course. Are you talking about loss of data in files written shortly before a crash, or more widespread corruption? If the latter I would expect it to be repeated with...

Re: Rasbian broken filesystem

To tell the truth, I had only one broken filesystem after correct shutdown - but it happened. And I used CPU clock at 700MHz, no overclocking. The rest of them was when I just switched off the power supply. But it should never happen, at least there should be started fsck automaticaly during boot if...

Rasbian broken filesystem

Hi, I have following problem - after some power offs (also after correct shutdowns) I had broken ext4 filesystem on my SD (16GB, Class10), the system was unable to start. I had to repair this with fsck.ext4 on my Linux desktop to get iot working. I thought, that this is problem with the SD card, so ...

Re: Games for raspbian

You should try to run ScummVM directly from command line, no X needed. Just enter scummvm ;-) Works like a charm, tested lot of games including MonkeyIsland 3. Also OpenTTD works that way. No X - more memory for application ...

Netsurf Framebuffer

Hi, anybody tried Netsurf framebuffer (netsurf-fb package)? I am unable to get it working, after start I see only blank screen. Also links2 -g does not start correctly, just there is distorted graphic, no blank screen. Other fb (SDL based) applications works well - fuse-sdl, openttd, scummvm. Any ad...

Netsurf Framebuffer

Hi, I try to compile Netsurf browser from source with Framebuffer support from the source. I sucessfully compiled the 2.8 version, got nsfb binary, but it does not work. When I run them in verbose mode, then I get some error mesages about framebuffer and then he returns back to commandline. BTW: I t...
