Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

Maybe i discovered a bug, can someone else try that out?
I'm on 12350.
Enter music mode and play a mp3 from a sambe share. Go to full screen mode. Now press c (context menu) and xbmc stops working and auto restarts a few seconds later.

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

Not sure how to set that in OpenELEC, maybe sraue can advise? And including the vc binaries in future OpenELEC builds does sound like a good idea. i think just execute that command on the console through ssh and then kill xbmc. xmbc should restart on its own. i have no problems with fanart, but i o...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

unix_err:'d' error : 'Permission denied' => mh, check your permission? smb:// USER:PW@ WS%2d3/tobi did so, this is because i'm not saving the password so it reasks again on each connect. i'm seeing all entries of the shares root folder, but as soon as i want to switch into a subfolder the gui freez...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

short checked r11392 with ~5 movies (mp4, dts, ac3) and works fine so far. another question: the openelec boot splash is distorted a bit, seems like it was converted from 16:9 to 4:3 without correcting the aspect ratio, was that intended? i've got a notion that almost all tv's which are in use with ...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

Yes. You should be able to run tvservice -a to see what we believe the audio support is. Obviously plugging in a DTS capable receiver after video starts playing is going to confuse things... many thanks! on the first run only 2channel pcm was shown, now it lists ac3,dts,dts-hd and stereo. but the b...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

i also compiled an r11273 build. buffering problem still exists. but i discovered the following: on one movie (mediainfo below) it shows a black still for 3 sec with only audio and the buffer is decreasing by ~8% per second! it shows a video bitrate of 0.01mbit/s and an audio bitrate of ~5mbit/s. sh...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

tried setting min_free_bytes (echo 12288 > /proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes) to 12288,16384, 20480 and 32768.
beyond 12M its just getting worser (with 32M it locked up).
was there something changed in the network driver code or includes the rpi firmware also network chip related stuff?

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds
