Re: How to build an app. for the store?

Ok, I've uploaded an initial guide on how to upload content for the Pi Store HERE . I've tried to be thorough, but hope I haven't made it seem too scary! Let me know any other gotchas or roadblocks that you find, and we'll get them added. I'll also get someone with decent design/formatting skills to...

Re: Feature Request

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

We will have some documentation ready hopefully later this evening, and I'll post a link here once it's available.

EDIT: I've put an initial help file on uploading content HERE. I hope it helps but let us know if we're missing essential things still - thanks.

Re: Why the Download Manager on Windows.

I'm afraid you can't download pi content on the pc and scp it across - not currently anyway. What you can do is browse store.raspberrypi.com on pc and acquire the content you want (so don't use the windows download manager at all). Then when you next open the Pi Store on your pi itself the content w...

Re: How to build an app. for the store?

Hi, We currently are able to run the following types of app: Binary/bash script files Python scripts Run the file against whatever is set against that file type (so png files open in an image viewer, pdf files in a document reader, etc) Apologies for the lack of documentation. We are working on this...

Re: Introducing the Pi Store!

Are you on PC when doing this? In order to upload currently you need to be in the Pi Store on the Pi itself, and then use the Upload section.

Very soon you will be able to upload from PC as well, and a detailed instructions page will shortly be provided.

Re: Not Minecraft, but Blocky

Hi, just throwing in a couple of comments: 1, I also had problems with the archive files. Downloading them directly from the github root path gave me corrupted archives when I tried to extract (on Windows or Pi), but if I downloaded the blocky-master.zip then I could get the tar balls out of it and ...

Re: Is Anyone Using RadioTray?

What's the general view on people having luck with RadioTray on Raspbian then? I've just used the latest image (10_28), apt-get installed RadioTray, apt-get update & upgrade and I get the same result as the OP: RadioTray seems to think it's working just fine, but nothing comes out of the audio jack....

Re: NitroHack (NetHack fork)

Hi, thanks for posting this :-) Unfortunately I seem to be running into a problem: all of your steps build Nitrohack just fine, but when I run the binary it dies after the username creation part (having started a 'n'ew game). The error messages are: 'Program initialisation has failed.' 'Report error...

Re: MonoGame on Raspberry Pi...

Hi YttriumOx, welcome to the party :D Great to hear that you've at least got to the same point as me. I've been battling away at this some more, and here are my latest findings: The first problem was that X11 wasn't being detected (even when running through LXDE). Installing libX11-dev fixed that pa...

Re: OpenGL and CSharp - OpenTK

Has anyone had any luck with running OpenTK on Pi yet?

I've been logging my progress on the MonoGames and Pi thread, and although that last stable OpenTk compiles ok I'm failing to get it running at the moment due to graphic initialisation errors.

Re: MonoGame on Raspberry Pi...

Me again ;-) Well definite progress has been made now. Looking at those errors in more detail against the source files I realised there was a mismatch between the OpenTK and MonoGame versions. So I downloaded the OpenTK V1.0 (opentk-2010-10-06.zip) and that built straight away on the Pi without erro...

Re: MonoGame on Raspberry Pi...

For some more info I thought I'd see what would happen if I now tried to build MonoGame on Pi, since I now have a compiled (if not running) OpenTK. I downloaded the latest MonoGame version from the site, and ran xbuild against the linux .sln file. First off I had a slew of errors as it couldn't find...

Re: MonoGame on Raspberry Pi...

Hi, thought I'd chip in and start trying to help with this. I installed Mono-complete on Pi and that compiles and runs my HelloWorld test app just fine. I unzipped that latest OpenTk (from nightly opentk-2012-03-15.zip) and tried running the already compiled Examples.exe through the desktop: the exa...
