How to Connect Raspberry Pi to CAN Bus

Hello, I made a tutorial for CAN Bus using Raspberry Pi: http://youness.net/raspberry-pi/raspberry-pi-can-bus It uses MCP2515 and MCP2551 that are discussed a lot in this forum. It uses also latest Raspbian Stretch (Lite). I took time to explain each part, because not all of us here know about hardw...

Re: Bluetooth speaker Paired, but no sound

Nov., my BT speakers just worked with nothing else installed and no config changes. No problem switching between BT, HDMI or analog sound. That's my experience as well. I didn't follow Raspbian updates, but I think that now everything is set to work out-of-box, auto switch to latest device, no disc...

Re: Autonomous Car

Try to disable Wi-Fi, this may result in more stable Bluetooth.

Code: Select all

sudo ifdown wlan0

Re: Stretch kill wifi, bluettoth rpi3

I don't remember where I read that, but when you upgrade Raspbian to Stretch, you may loose the firmwares for WiFi and Bluetooth, a matter of license or something like that, anyway. Try to download the firmware and copy/past them in the corresponding locations: lib/firmware/brcm/brcmfmac43430-sdio.b...

In case anyone still cheking this post. Re: Bluetooth - Headset/Handsfree

Hi,

Do not merge built-in Bluetooth chipset (in Raspberry Pi 3), and people using external Bluetooth USB device (in the above link).

BTW, Some information here if you still need it:

Re: Bluetooth (A2DP/HSP) chip BCM 43438

Great work! I don't have an HSP compatible headset, so I can't test this, but I'll refer folks looking for an HSP solution to your website. I'm still surprised the on-board adapter isn't working, but I guess that's Bluetooth for ya. Do you want me to check for HFP profile? I can give it a try with ...

Re: Bluetooth (A2DP/HSP) chip BCM 43438

I haven't heard of anyone getting HSP/HFP working on a Pi; I'd be interested in any information that it's working on a Pi. I doubt if you're going to find the proprietary Cypress firmware. Bluetoothd logs to the standard /var/log/syslog file; I forget if you can adjust the logging level. Check 'man...

Bluetooth (A2DP/HSP) chip BCM 43438

Hi all, There again to discuss the problem of Bluetooth headset not working with Raspberry Pi 3. I've done so many tries to make it working, but for the moment only A2DP is 100% OK. For HSP/HFP, I can select the profile headset_head_unit but no sound is in or out. http://youness.net/raspberry-pi/blu...

I see no reason that you can't use your headphone with A2DP profile (speakers mode)
