Re: can a direct (private) network be setup between 2 raspberry pi's over wifi?

Im not all that worried about performance as it will only need to transmit the necessary data to command the remote pi to play an mp3. Now that I know this is doable now i just need to figure out the code needed to press a button on one pi and have it send the command to the other pi to start an mp3...

Re: Help using sound sensor to display image on lcd

Thanks for the reply. The below link is to the sensor I'm looking at. I'd like it to read the decibel level. And for every 20 decibel range and display an animated gif. Decibel range from 10 to 20 display 1.gif Decibel range from 20 to 30 display 2.gif And so on... I'd like this to display the image...

Help using sound sensor to display image on lcd

I hope this is in the right section. If not please let me know where to post this. I want to use the sound sensor on a RP3 to monitor the decibel level around it. And depending on what range the decibel level is in the pi will display a corresponding image on and LCD screen. Is this possible? And ho...

Re: Raspberry pi 3 for emulator

Absolutely not. The pi3 is capable of running up to PS1 and N64, both of which have several games that run at a low frame rate. As a general rule you need a computer with about 4x the specs of the system your trying to emulate. The ps3 specs are 3.2ghz single core processor, with 256gb ram. So you w...

What install tutorial are you using? I see several commands typed in that I don't remember ever having to type. And in my experience updating packages is completely automated. You shouldn't have to type anything.

After nearly a year of planning. And off trial and error. I'm glad to say that the Helix Duo HDNES-001 NES Hybrid game console is nearing completion. The last item on the to do list is the easiest, installing the headphone jacks and bass, treble, and volume controls. Unfortunatly I'm stuck waiting f...
