Re: Missing TUN/TAP device

I will add that modprobe and searching for tun.ko does not reveal anything.

Missing TUN/TAP device

Trying to run A zerotier client on a pi 3b running an older kernel (for specific reasons) 4.14.71-v7+ The kernel is freshly cross compiled using qemu and updated When running zerotier client I keep getting an error for missing tun/tap device I have run out of ideas to try and fix the missing tun dev...

Re: On Hands and Knees Begging for a proper-Good Camera

I get it.. With 25 million pi sold to date, the drone crowd is probably a small niche market. The pi are always fairly lower priced bits of hardware as well so they have to be low margin, high volume, sales that guide decisions. Seems to me the v2 cam seems long in the tooth, circa 2016.. Just from ...

Re: On Hands and Knees Begging for a proper-Good Camera

Yes the camera options are very mediocre... One nice things with the drone community is we often buy multiples of everything. Most of us have several aircraft and if there is a good solution, we outfit our "fleet'. And we crash and destroy things ;) So we are repeat customers.

H264 Keyframe Question

Hi guys I dabble with OpenHD which is an offshoot of the wifibroadcast project. We have been investigating the new raspivid h264 slices parameter. In the course of testing one guy discovered that he gets improved results with our h264 byte stream when he sets keyframes to “-1” . That’s right, a nega...

Re: How to get lowest latency with PiCamera

Hi, Another group that has spent a significant amount of time working on driving down the latency for Raspberry Pi camera streaming is the EZ-Wifibroadcast project. They have created a pretty full featured (and easy to install) system to transmit video over wifi for, primarily, RC vehicle/drone fir...

Re: 2 new options for raspivid

Hi guys, I am playing around with the slices option. Do you need an updated or different decoder to best display an h264 stream that has been sliced? All I did was seperately compile the updated (as in having the slice param) raspivid and then pasted it into my image over my old raspivid... I am str...

Re: RPI3 USB Hardware Bug?

Er what? The Raspberry Pi kernel has been open source since the release of the pi one so I'm not quite sure why you think it's closed. You may have missed it in the post above but in my tests dolphin and Kwrite both work perfectly well on the latest model pis with the latest stretch. It is? I read ...

Re: Pi-to-Pi Low Latency One-To-Many Video Streaming

Try OpenHD. Low latency one to many hd now with audio. Works on the latest pi. You will need specific WiFi adapters tho

Re: Near-real time video conferencing with Zero?

Google wifibroadcast. Mostly a drone fpv project so no audio currently but video transmission with about 150ms of latency.

Re: Question regarding GPIO/SDIO and WiFi

Hi guys, my name is Adam, and this is my first post on this forum. However I'm not new to linux/unix or the raspberry Pi. I recently had an idea for using the RPi Zero, and consequently have a few of them winging my way (hopefully to arrive this week). To the point, I've been inspired by the projec...
