Hi, I've been looking for an image like yours.. Sadly my SD card is only 4GB
Is there a way to resize your image to fit on a 4GB card?

OpenELEC preinstalled Edimax 7811un driver
Just a thought, let me know what you guys think... As it goes I am a complete linux noob and have absolutely no idea how to go by installing drivers, but I am however obsessed with my Pi using OpenELEC. Would it be possible, if enough people found it to be a worth while idea, to add the driver for t...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds
Can anyone point me in the direction of what build is best/most stable for airplay (audio + audio/video)? Thanks! http://openelec.thestateofme.com/ Great link here with up to date builds as well as older versions. Also has SD card image files further down the page. Use something like Win32 Disk Ima...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds
It must have something to do with a forced aspect ratio! Some videos, like downloaded series episodes do actualy fill the screen, but if something is encoded using a wider or narrower AR for that matter it simply does'nt alter it. That's why all 4:3 AR videos stay the same aswell...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds
I think he's refering to the forced letterboxing on these builds! No matter what "View Mode" you sellect in video options the video olways remains letterboxed! In my PC running Eden, when you change the view mode to 16:9 it stretches the picture to fullscreen, but on these Pi builds it doe...

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds
Is there any way of removing the letterboxing? It seems that no matter what aspect I select, nothing changes... I always prefer stretched 16:9 aspect to letterboxed! On my PC, setting the viewing aspect to 16:9 and saving it as "default for all movies" makes all movies stretch to a 16:9 fu...

Re: Games on "Cartridges"
This would be so awesome! True that SD card prices are cheap enough to make this possible, just ordered a Sandisk Ultra Class 6 4GB card from play for £2.99..
This has to happen..

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)
You can edit keymaps to suit your requirements, have a look at the Keymaps article in the XBMC Wiki. Once you have a custom keymap, put it in the userdata/keymaps folder (call it, for example, remote.xml) and restart XBMC. It sounds like you need to map your "OK" button to "AspectRat...

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)
I'm using a cyberlink remote with mine and all the buttons work, but I'd like to change them so for instance, if I press "OK" while video is playing it brings up the aspect options to choose between Normal, Stretch, 4:3, 16:9, original.. How can I change that button to bring up the OSD?

Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds
Does anyone know how I can manually change the addons via ssh? I've gone back to r11203 and for the life of me, even after a little prayer, I can not get ANY additional addons to show up.. I go to change the skin, but the list is empty, no addons what so ever, not even a sub section list of availabl...

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)
Playing media from network (smb) share is definatly getting worse.. Now, traying to play a 700mb rip, xvid video and 2 channel audio results in a pause/play cycle every 10 - 15 seconds! Also experiencing random freezes, no config file, just a fresh clean install of r11324.. Just a remote, ethernet a...

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)
Hands in the air, who can still reach there pi's over a windows network to update...
Everything seems to be going backwards now, no more overclock, no way of copying files to update folder as the pi is unreachable over ethernet..
Previous builds had non of these problems!!
Any advice?

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)
On earlier builds I could run my Pi quite happily at 900mhz, but now with current builds including r11286 I'm more or less stuck at stock speeds!
The slightest overclock freezes the display at boot with a rainbow color effect on the screen..
Is there any reason why this is happening?

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)
It seems that all the builds after r11203 lacks addons! Non of them has the ability to change the skin! Also, no idea how to stop the SMB freezing issue!

Ok, I've installed an image of r11170 and updates to r11212, kernel, system and bootloader. Everything is running fine, but in video addons, I cant seem to install "The Trailers" addon, it just jump back to the list, shows "Downloading 0%" and the just stops without any sign of s...
