I downloaded rasbian jessie in 2016 and made a dist upgrade 2 days ago https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/raspbian-stretch/
On my raspberrypi 1 b+ everything works but when i made an image for a vrind to run on the pi 3 b+ its not booting.
debian version went from 8 to 9.4

I have updated the kernel and distro to the latest version it still works on mij raspberry PI B+

i have rasbian on a raspberry pi b+ but when i tried to run the same image on a raspberry pi 3 it crashes on kernel load
is the a way to work around that

echter als een maat van me een copie probeert op zijn raspberry pi 3 slaat hij tijdens laden van de kernel vast
weet iemand hier iets op

bud in jesse /dev/pty is not there anymore is there a way to solf this problem

when the new system hase boot up do sudo passwd root to set the root pasword
enter su -
and than loggin as root with the password you just made

cd into your old system proberly it is in /media/pi/root/usr/bin
and enter chown root:root ./sudo
now you have set it back to root user

Than the best way is to make a new sdcard with rasbian and then put the old card in a card reader and set the chown to root so you can then boot from the old card and use sudo again

when you loggin via ssh terminal as user pi you can than loggin as superuser user with the folowing commands

sudo passwd root


now you can set the password for the root user
the password only has to be set once

su -
with the su - command you can now loggin as root ( superuser )

Check with ohms meter if the fuse f1 still oke the outcom must be close to zero
you kan also check if both sides are at aprox 5 volts if one of the sides don't cary any volts the fuse is broken
