Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

Two questions before I try this method, or else I'd just be screwing around with no results. Is it necessary to reimage the SD card? I'm not sure if the install txt was meant for those who have not setup their card's yet. I've already been using mine for a few days just working on getting sound and ...

Re: USB Wifi Adapter and Mouse Questins

I went to verify the USB adapter yesterday just to make sure I didn't buy anything that would not work. Only problem is it is a no name eBay wifi adapter that is probably mass produced, so I don't think there is anything mentioning it on that list. I do believe it will work though I saw someone on e...

Re: Newbie User cannot get Audio out

Grumpy Mike, I've found an easier way. First of all, have you set a root user password yet? If not, go to step one, if you have, step two. Because if you need to run two different Linux distributions everyone pretty much summed up the reasons why it would/wouldn't work. In theory it is possible but it would be the slowest thing ever and any processe...

Re: Won't boot on 3/5 SD cards

Hopefully making the RPI compatible with more SD cards is a top priority for the foundation/community. I'm happy that two of my cards work but they are the slowest of the five. Like nick.mccloud pointed out it seems there is a trend with certain classes and higher capacity cards. I personally tried...

USB Wifi Adapter and Mouse Questins

I feel like I'm doing fairly well for a noob to Linux. Got the audio working and luckily my Enermax Briskie Keyboard/Mouse combo connected right away and worked right away. However the mouse is acting a little funny. It will move around fine but when I slow down or go to click something I notice it ...
