Re: RISC OS on Raspberry Pi

I have too problems with USB keyboard (in fact its a PS2 kbd on a ps2->USB adaptor) on *any* Linux distro I used on RPi (the USB adaptor is even connected to a 2.5A powered hub).

I thought its a problem with the RPi, but I don't have such issues running RISCOS (the main OS of my RPi)

Re: RISC OS on Raspberry Pi

@ahodgekins old software won't work with the RISCOS port on RPi as its 32bit... (unless you have BASIC applications), there are 'solutions' like AEmulor (no port for RPI...) , or A310Emu (is not working too, at least under the RO5 that I tried)

Re: RISC OS on Raspberry Pi

Am I the only one with fond memories of risc OS 2? booted to the desktop in a couple of seconds. haha yea.. my last ROS was 3.11 (on A5000), things started to be 'slow' when the !system updated to a...

Re: RISC OS on Raspberry Pi

The resolution is 'fixed' to 1920x1080, but as I see its possible to use the RISCOS with a monitor that has lower resolution than this. I recently got new hdmi->dvi-d cable (as the old one was a bit problematic) so I use the following config.txt with the RISCOS: hdmi_drive=2 hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=3...

Re: RISC OS on Raspberry Pi

BTW in the current 'alpha' version, the resolution is fixed to 1900x 1080, which is useless if you don't have a HD display..

Re: ArmedSlack 13.37

Hi, I installed ok the latest image, but after 2-3 reboots I see now the error: mmc0: Controller never released inhibit bit I assume its a kind of incompatibility with my SD card or something like this? I had no problems with the Archlinux/debian so I assume has something to do with this distro... thx

Re: PL2303 serial port.

I connected one of these http://www.rltechnology.co.uk/ (ebay has a lot) on the GPIO header and works like charm!
