soo . i read somewhere that bad HDMI cables can cause WiFI interferance... doubtful, but not knowing what else to try, i swamped it out... and whatya know - it looks like im good! wtf... :/ im typing this on my Pi' regular network and all seems solid

Thanks for the reply! They're both on WPA2-PSK [AES]. No encryption that I can tell... :/

kind of surprised no one else has this issue. i'd guess that perhaps "guest wifi" isn't the only necessary factor - does anyone have 2 WiFi networks in their home where the Pi3 "likes" one but not the other (even though its emitting from the same source)?

all - I have a guest WiFi and regular WiFi at home. If I put my Pi3 on the guest network its fine - the regular WiFi keeps reconnecting and is slow when connected.
