Re: minimize RAM usage ?

Am I able to change from 192 to 224 easily by replacing the files, or is there anything I need to think before? I already updated the firmware with hexxeh's autp-updater for 192 settings..

minimize RAM usage ?

Hi there! I've running the pi with 192MB Ram and wanted to know how it's possible to minimize the RAM usage? Actually there's a CS Server (OSCAM) running with IPC on Apache + Owncloud. But Owncloud doesn't seem to use that much mem. It's IPC which uses the most RAM. Is it possible to decrease the me...

Re: CCCAM / OSCAM

You can use this script to install IPC (OSCAM etc.) on Debian Squeeze. wget http://www.cs-pirates.cc/ipc/ipcsetup.sh ./ipcsetup.sh Then use this step by step guide to compile oscam for ARMv6: streamboard.gmc.to/wiki/OSCam/de/Self-made (Can be done without changing anything) After you compiled oscam ...

Re: Quake 3 Arena at 60 FPS

When I try to join a game I get an error message:

user interface is version 3, expected 6

Copied the .pak files 1-8 from my local Quake 3 dir (pr 1.32 already installed), so I'm not using any demo files etc.

The compilation was successful without any error.

Any ideas?

Re: RPi with Debian and Gnome - Mouse/Keyb. not working

Working now. I've made an update with hexxeh's rpi-update tool which fixed the problem.

Thanks for your help!

Re: RPi with Debian and Gnome - Mouse/Keyb. not working

I've already tested a more powerful one.. no effect. But the KB works within the debian/fedora shell. It's also working with OpenELEC (with mouse support). Only GDM3 and LXDE won't work (others not tested). A friend told me he had the same issue with bigger cards than 8GB. With 8GB SDHC everythings ...

Re: RPi with Debian and Gnome - Mouse/Keyb. not working

Hi there!

LXDE does also not work with mouse/keyb. This is also a problem with Fedora Remix. But openelec has mouse/kb Support within xbmc.

I ve heard that this is a pi issue because of sdhc cards bigger than 8gb

RPi with Debian and Gnome - Mouse/Keyb. not working

Hi there! I would describe myself as a linux beginner, so please be patient with me ;) I'm running a RPi with Debian squeeze (19.04.12) + new firmware updates and a 32GB SDHC with wireless mouse and keyboard. The keyboard works fine with the usual debian shell. I don't had to install any driver or s...
