Testing Feedback
- Nextcloud Pi works
- SCP on local network is also faster
- Native Boot from SSD working
By any chance do you have a PoE Hat you can test your SSD boot with? Haven't found anyone to confirm this combo works. I've not been able to get it past rainbow screen

Re: STICKY: Raspberry Pi OS (64 bit) beta test version feedback

I'm currently using RPiOS 64bits for a home server, with USB boot. Currently not using any x11 package. Everything works perfectly! When RPiOS 64bits get released I will need to reinstall it into my system or it'll be possible to do a simple update? The debian buster source list will be removed? Th...

Lots of people rely on this project to use for octoprint but I can't get it to work on the 64bit pi os. Can someone assist? I'm specifically trying to get the input_raspicam.so to work so I can use the official pi camera. https://github.com/jacksonliam/mjpg-streamer I can get it to compile by makin...

Hi,

I've installed Raspberry Pi OS 64 bit (beta) on my Raspberry Pi 4 (4GB),
and tested Raspberry Pi camera with it,
but it is not working as expected.
Can you or anyone else confirm that raspistill and raspivid are working in current 64 bit build?

Re: ETA for Official POE Hat for 3B+

I'm experiencing the same issue as nightwatchman, with the same Ubiquiti Unifi 16P 150W PoE+ switch and a Sandisk Ultra Fit 32GB USB flash drive plugged in the RPi (from which it boots and runs Raspbian). I bought that switch after having difficulties powering a Ubiquiti in-wall AP with my former L...

Thanks for the reply. I'll check into that.

So you're saying that this option would require neither a PoE hat nor a switch?

I love DIY. Most pi people do. As long as someone has done the steps before I can usually cobble together pieces

ETA for Official POE Hat for 3B+

I'm hoping a Pi Engineer can respond with a new timeframe or rough ETA for the release of the POE Hat. I remember when the Pi 3B+ was officially released they talked about a POE Hat being available possibly in late May. Right now and since then, the page continues to say "Coming Soon" Does anyone ha...

Is there a way to connect pi to another windows/mac computer and to modify files inside it? It's pi zero.. Not sure why you'd need this to be done? You didn't want that as a requirement before (using SSH). You can setup the the SD image before handing over the Pi - make sure it has a uDev rule that...
