Re: Ssh but no internet?

Oh, sorry I'm a fool with this, but I figured it out what went wrong. With setting up a static adress I entered the pi-hole's ip instead of the router's ip. By deleting it from etc/dhcpcd.conf it worked again. And I found out I could define a static dhcp lease to the zero in the pi-hole so I guess I...

If I want to watch a HD tv-channel, it looks really terrible. https://i.imgur.com/o7i3KZ0.jpg However if I open up the same channel with TV Headend on my pc, it looks all right. Channels that are not HD are also alright. ...

I would like to listen to the radio on mypi but without the tv switched on. I tried plugging in a stero cable into my guitar-amp but no sound. I took out the hmdi cable, still...

Well, I've got it. Finally! I was looking for something like /etc/sendmail ... but there's no such a thing as /etc/sendmail, then I saw /etc/mailname...that did it.

resize img 8g to 16g sd

I want to resize my sdcard to use all the space. Sudo raspi-config says I'm already expanded so I need to do it another way. I'm using an image from a 8g card but pretty soon I'll be running out of space so I want to transfer the img to a 16g card. In Gparted I have 5 partitions. p1 fat32 recovery p...

Re: Read mail from root

Tx a lot.
I installed alpine but my mailbox is still empty (while I know that there are some messages).
When I type

Code: Select all

  cat /var/mail/pi
I see some messages, how can I see them in Alpine?

Read mail from root

Hi,
Today I found out by accident that the root sends mail.
I can read them in a terminal but I want to be able to read it more properly. Which program should I install? Can somebody help me out here?
