can you edit /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf ? if so just add at the bottom

A low pass filter needs to be apply to limit frequency higher than the sampling rate. But this will depend of your input signal. .. higher than half the sampling rate. Rules of thumbs. Never let a input signal floating. Always ground any unused inputs. The answer is simple . Any static voltage will induce on the input and generate noise.
