Give this a try! By using Pixel Doubling to make fonts more readable (larger) on high resolution screen, however, there are drawbacks Pixel Doubling affects the entire system. Enabling pixel doubling simply draws every pixel in the desktop as a 2×2 block of pixels on the screen, making everything ex...

Re: How To Fix "Pairing Failed GDBus.Error.org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationFailed" Error?

After installing the December updates and rebooting, I had lost the volume control applet completely from the lxde panel. What I did was that I added the new (pulse audio) volume control applet. Is the new pulse audio applet what you are referring to or the old one? By the way when the questions ca...

Just did my monthly system update, included Thunderbird from version [1:68.12.0-1~deb10u1+rpi1] --> [1:78.4.0-1~deb10u1+rpi1]. Thunderbird now takes 22 sec. to launch compare to 45 sec. before the update. Although it still seems slow, but it is 100% faster. :)

Thanks for your reply. I normally leave the quality settings on 'auto' also. I think this symptom happens a while back (more than 1 month), just I didn't realize it until today when I saw the video aspect ratio actually shrinking as it plays. Previously, I never notice the shrinking in action and on...
