C vs Python which has more GPIO support?

Please I'm an absolute beginner in Raspberry Pi, though I'm 'well grounded' in C for embedded system. My question now is which of C and Python has more support in terms of libraries, for Raspberry Pi? Secondly, after writing a python code, how can I make it to be executing repeatedly anytime the Pi ...

Re: New to Raspberry Pi

Ok, guys. So I now know it's more recommended to run it as a desktop while programming it, unlike controllers that you code, compile, then transfer. Can I store my own codes in the same memory used by the Pi for system files and all that? Please can anybody recommend any book on raspberry pi and Lin...

Re: New to Raspberry Pi

I so much appreciate all the replies.
Again, which Linux distribution do I need to run on my desktop computer for me to write codes for the Pi? Or can I run Windows?
Thanks!

New to Raspberry Pi

Hello! I'm new to Raspberry Pi. I program microcontrollers using C language. Now I want to start using the Raspberry Pi 3, but my first questions are: Which Language is more flexible to use, and which compiler is better? Should I continue with C++ and which compilers for Linux?
Thanks!
