Re: western digital drive package

£45 promo price now.

I'm tempted to get one. I just got bittorrent sync and want to set up a low power always on backup/storage. Just need to find some sort of case to fit it all in

SOLVED Re: omxplayer - no video

Aha!

That was it. I had my memory split set to 32mb for the gpu, upping it to 64 fixed the problem.

Would be good to have that added to the help when its run, or in fact it should check there is enough gpu memory and report if there isnt.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Sugar OS

Hi,

I've seen no mention of the Sugar OS that was designed for the one laptop per child venture(OLPC)
Wouldn't this be a good fit for the raspberrypi?

http://www.sugarlabs.org/

Looks like theres a debian x86 image so would need recompiling for the pi I am guessing.

Re: 3D

Hi, any more success with this? Just been looking at panda3d and seems a nice well supported rendering api to get into, if only it can be stuffed in the pi it seems. After seeing that it would need compiling for the pi I thought to see if someone else had already done it. Looks like no easy task unf...

Re: Playstation PS3 Eye Streaming

Just an update on my progress with this.
I now have my ps3 eyetoy streaming video locally. What I hadn't done was update my firmware.
Thanks for the explanation and help, I've gained a little knowledge, which of course can be a dangerous thing :)
