Re: Raspberry PI 2 B (RS-485 with RTS)

Hi RicharD,
thank you very much for your post. ;)
I need to do exactly the same thing.
Could I have the FW with the correct spaces because I have some problem to understand the code.
Thank you

Re: i2c repeated start transactions

Hi,
I have the same problem. I tried to enable the combined mode but the problem hasn't been corrected. Sometimes it works properly and sometimes doesn't.
Could I know which library you are using (c or python)?
Could you post the code to use the combined mode?
Thanks

ModBus on Pins RXD0 and TXD0

Hi everyone, I'm using a raspberry pi 2 and I need to communicate in modbus with a slave (Raspberry is the master). I'd like to use Pins RXD0 and TXD0 (Pin 8 and Pin 9) of the rasberry with a RS-485 driver. I wouldn't like use a USB-RS-485 converter for problem of space. I'm using the libmodbus libr...

Re: How can I read 2 consecutive bytes

Hi,
I'm working with raspberry Pi 2 B.
The complete protocol in I2C to read a 16bit value is:
I have to write the value to read

Address, value to read

then I can read

Address, MSB, LSB

How can I read two consecutively bytes (MSB, LSB)

Thanks

How can I read 2 consecutive bytes

Hi everyone, I'm a Raspberry's beginner level. I have to interface the Raspberry pi 2 to a custom board using I2C bus. This costom board uses this following protocol to read the data. Read Address, Byte_1, Byte_2 I'm using the wiring Pi library but if I use this code Byte_1 = wiringPiI2CRead(fd) ; B...
