A project to learn Rust

Hello Friends, i want to learn rust and to keep me stimulated i've thought that a rasperry pi project is a good idea. So the project i want to realize is an irrigation system integrated with a weather station. My electronic skills thery basic, almost zero, so i need to keep it as simple as possible....

I'm guessing you are using an additional USB hub with your Pi. You will likely get two forms of reply to your issue: 1) You have a power supply or hub quality issue. Most people are recommending power supplies for a powered hub need to be at least 1.5A, better at 2A+. Power needs to be stable in ra...

The problem is your hub. I had the same with ubuntu desktop and the wifi card attached to a problematic hub.
Connected the stick directly to my pc it works perfect.

I uploaded the dmesg. Anyway i tried the the last hub in my ubuntu desktop and i get the same error. I hope that my experience could be useful to someone

Hello, just a little update: tried with another powered hub and now i can get work both keyboard and mouse but the wifi adapter that was correctly initialized by kernel plugged in the previous hub now fail with a -22 error. If i can get access to the sd partition in some way i can paste all the dmes...

you guess right i've a powered hub, so for the first point i can try to plug mouse and keyboard directly to the pi.
I try another powered hub then, and i'll try to get one reported as working.

Mouse and keyboard: strange behaviour

Hello,


i've a strange behaviour with keyboard and mouse.

Raspbian: keyboard and mouse are recognized by kernel but mouse doesn't work under X - lxde
Openelec: keyboard and mouse works but not together, if i plug both only keyboard works but if i unplug the keyboard the mouse works!
