I'm suprised nobody has asked about your sd card, certainly with raspbmc, sd card speed can dramatically increase or reduced the speed at which everything works....obviously faster is better...

I've lost SD cards due to this problem, so understandably I wan't to know what's caused it. Getting an answer has proven to be very difficult...

Are you looking at CPU usage using the GUI? If so bare In mind that the CPU is used to render that page, hence the values showing so high.

If your experiencing instability you should look at your sd card and power supply, if that doesn't help come over to the raspbmc forums...

If you are after a dedicated media machine (i.e. to do nothing else), then you're better off looking at one of the "Openelec" builds (have a look through the forums). Interesting, but both of mine are from Farnell. so that doesn't explain the differance.

doesn't really matter anyway since they both have it on the bottom, thought for a moment i had got some sort of pre-production thing :lol:

goodness me, theres more in there than I thought. ;) I was referring to the CE mark, Montala got it! the ce mark is actually on the bottom of the two of them, I hadn't noticed before :oops: It's actually not exactly the same, both my units came from Farnell, but not at the same time..... sure it was...
