Re: Duke Nukem 3d Port This Normal?

You need to build eduke32 with the CFLAG "SDL_TARGET=1", so it uses SDL1.2. Either that, or change the renderer for SDL2 to software: SDL_RENDER_DRIVER=software ./eduke32 Or compiling SDL2 from source and eduke32 to use it afterwards, like described in the last post in the following link. Source: ht...

Re: gzdoom on raspberry pi

you are missing openssl. Try some sudo apt-get install libgnutls-openssl-dev That didn't work for me, but what did work was installing "libssl-dev". I also had to install "libglew-dev", else the compilation failed after about 32%, but even then it fails at 99% with: /usr/bin/ld: CMakeFiles/zdoom.di...

Re: Kweb Suite (Minimal Kiosk Browser)

playlists do work, but take a while and may break, if one video in the list is not available or private or causes some other kind of error. Try the following: Disable the ytdl-server (in settings) Enter the youtube playlist URL in omxplayerGUI and click "Extract...". Although I have set up the yout...

Re: Kweb Suite (Minimal Kiosk Browser)

Is there some way to play a video from a youtube playlist URL? I mean, if I copy the playlist URL, OmxplayerGUI refuses to extract the video, if I remove everything after the first "&" it works fine. It used to work when I set the playlist's privacy to private on youtube, but somehow that doesn't wo...

Re: Is this the correct way to install the watchdog package?

Thank you for this. However I noticed that when I shutdown the Pi manually, it doesn't reboots itself after 10 seconds? Or is that what the Shutdown setting is for, seeing as that's set so 10minutes? Anyways that's actually what I wanted, watchdog to reboot the Pi once it freezes, but not if I shut ...

Re: Guide: Chromium 50 on Raspbian Jessie

That seems the only way, but are you sure you're seeing significant disk usage from caching ? I'm not sure, but as long as chromium runs the green LED flashes more frequently than it does when I close chromium. I'm also using the Pi as a desktop replacement, so I'm basically trying to increase the ...

Re: Guide: Chromium 50 on Raspbian Jessie

How would I go about if I want to basically disable chromium's cache to reduce disk usage? I already tried the "--disk-dir-cache-size=N" flag with no effect and then just simply set ".cache/chromium" to read-only, which seems to work, but I don't know if that's the proper way.

Resize window while keeping aspect ratio?

Any idea how I would do this? To be specific, I'm asking because I'm running PCSX_ReARMed under X and while it doesn't look to bad in a 640x480 window, I'd like to increase that to atleast 1024x768. Currently I do this by resizing the window with a picture as a guidance, but I guess there should be ...

Re: Introduce yourself!

Manuel / 23 / m / Berlin, Germany Bought a RPi3 like 2 weeks ago as temporary desktop replacement and to get some experience with Linux, electronics and programming in general. So far I'm really impressed by what you can do with this little thing, if you don't mind waiting a bit of course. But then ...

Re: Guide: Chromium 50 on Raspbian Jessie

I had problems with version 49 and 256mb GPU ram as well, since I lowered that to 128mb it isn't as worse. Also thanks a lot for your work kusti8, really appreciate it. Only got my Pi3 like 2 weeks ago as a temporary desktop replacement and in my opinion it's just amazing that I can even watch YouTu...
