Re: Cheapest raspberry pi setup? (USA)

Thanks for your input. When I said the keyboard was optional, I meant I had a keyboard that I can use, but Id rather get another one entirely for my Pi if its cheap enough. xD Also, can anyone recommend the cheapest wifi adapter thats known to work with the pi? Finally, I still would like recommenda...

Cheapest raspberry pi setup? (USA)

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could give advice to the cheapest possible raspberry pi setup I can get. I do not care if the more expensive things are used as long as they are in good condition. I need: Raspberry Pi (Model B) SD card (at least 8GB) Power Cable (or USB cable + hub) Case Optional...

It looks really good, except i think the tail moves a little too much, and i noticed the center of the wolf's body does not really move at all. But apart from that, it looks really natural.

Re: R-Pi Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MM

Hi Ikesmasher, Have you tried the Unity engine? It does the same trick with a single plane, and you can get some really strange effects if it's not tuned properly. You walk up to a tree and it kind of stretches itself, as the plane turns into a 3D object. I imagine they try to avoid jumps by switch...

It has an AV input, so it SHOULD work, although all the other inputs are unnecessary. anything with a yellow plug should work fine, assuming you use an external power source.

Re: R-Pi Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MM

Hi Ikesmasher, Would you be interested in fixing the trees? The current trees don't look too bad, but they use a lot of polygons. You can get away with having a handful in a scene, but a forest would be a complete no-go. Originally I was thinking that we'd need multiple levels of detail, and all th...

I like the ebayed hardware and dremeled ones better.
Although, they all are just boxes still.
But nice work, guess it was bout as cheap as that 99 cent card case that someone used.

Re: Runescape/Java Games

Minecraft does not work well on some 300 dollar laptops on x86, i doubt it would run well on the pi. You would have to have a miniscule draw distance (smaller that minecrafts smallest one) and choppy lighting.

I mean, unless you want to make a perfectly shaped one, you can just go at it for 2 seconds with a electric drill and there you go.

With all due respect, with all the ports of the Pi being on different sides, its rather difficult to make it anything BUT a boxy shape.

Re: R-Pi Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MM

Hey guys. I havent gotten a rasPi yet (I do plan on ordering when demand gets a little less...serious, ya know?) and i havent read through a large part of the thread in the middle there, but I can help with some 3D modeling if need be. More so in a manmade scenery type environment. So if you want me...

Im really hoping that i can use RasPi to learn how to make software com...

Hey guys, wanting some opinions

Hows it goin. I am really interested in the rasPi. Ive been a big PC user for years. I consider myself advanced in that area (i am familiar with everything as far overclocking and flashing a bios, and a few things related to all that. I have built 2 PCs to date) Now i know many of the users here are...
