Re: Pi 3 won't boot

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me with additional info. Here is the lastest: I still have the same problem. Red ON and Green 1 flash of less than a second. I purchased a new 16 GB SanDisk SD card and I did a full format using SD Formatter. I down loaded NOOBS 1.9.0 and copied that to the SD card. I ...

Re: Pi 3 won't boot

Dear Moderator, I used the 2GB card to see if it would boot beyond the one flash point. I didn't expect it to boot all the way. I used the SDCard formatter as specified by Rasp.org. "Run" solder pads on Pi 3

There are two open solder pads on the Pi 3 B. They are behind the USB port and labeled "Run". What are they for???

Also, there are two open solder pads at the opposite end of the 40 pin connector, on the bottom of the board. What component is missing or not needed???
Thanks, Mike

Re: Pi 3 won't boot latest jessie

I just got a Pi 3 B with NOOBS 1.9 from adafruit. I also got the proper power supply from adafruit. When I plug everything together (VGA monitor, keyboard, mouse, SD Card) and power up, the red light comes on and the green light flashes once and only once. NOTHING else happens. Screen is black. Some...
