perhaps booting a Live CD with Gparted on it will help people to remove the partitions. Isn't there a simple windows app to remove all partitions on a SD-Card ? Hi :) I take it that the Pi does read/writes to the (micro)-Sd-card running it's OS regardless of which distro it's running? It seems a bit weird to me that i have to rely on some other bit of hardware to format and write to the Sd-card before physically removing the Sd-card and placing it in the Pi...
