Re: W2KP

I sense some hostility / negativity / sneering in the force... the BOCHS idea has merit, and ill give it a go some time. Many thanks (to some of you).

Re: USB Keyboard Kernel Panic

Possibly a combination of the two, but the keyboard I was using is list as "problem" on the wiki. Having a decent power supply helps though - I got a duracell one that kicks out max 1amp, so i'm good for that now.

Hi, Just got my raspi working today, and ive already overclocked it to 900mhz cpu and sdram 500mhz. Ive noticed a marked improvement over the bog standard peformance! Ive never overclocked a machine before - another educational benefit of the raspi! :D I also found this site which was a good guide t...

Ah. Ive just noticed on the wiki that the Pcworld essentials keyboard ive been using is listed as a "problem keyboard". Best I change it out.

Re: USB Keyboard Kernel Panic

Thanks. I think the issue might be that I was using an inadequate power supply. The first one I used was 350ma and the second 0.7amp. Same problem both times. Technically the 0.7a should be ok but its probably borderline. Im going to go and get a 1.2amp power supply today and give that a go!

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hi All, Im 40 (I wonder how many of us are about that age? ZXSpectrum ftw), I have one kid, a boy of 10, and I work in the IT industry, but ive rarely written code.
