Re: Pi Camera to Web Page

Thanks for this link, it looks interesting. Which feature were you suggesting? WebRTC?

Thanks

Re: Pi zero - micro USB (OTG) hub not working

Hmm that's a shame. On the plus side though the £3 Chinese USB OTG Ethernet adapter off ebay works just fine out of the box, so I don't need the hub now. :D

Pi Camera to Web Page

Hi everyone I've been playing around with the Pi camera module with a view to creating a bird box camera. I've got the camera all working and can view it via a monitor. What I'd like to do is host a website on the Pi that plays the live camera stream, but I'm really struggling. I'd like it to: - Pla...

Re: Pi zero - micro USB (OTG) hub not working

Thanks for your response, however I was asking if anyone had got these specific USB hubs working before I look to buy yet another hub.

Re: Official RPi WiFI on Native Wheezy

I've fixed it. Although I have switched to native Jessie, this might well work on Wheezy as well. For anyone else in the same boat I did the following: Edit the sources nano /etc/apt/sources.list Add the following line and save deb http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian jessie main Run the following ...

Re: Official RPi WiFI on Native Wheezy

Any reason not to use the current Raspbian Jessie Lite ? https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian My preference is native Debian. I've tried the Raspbian Jessie Lite distro to prove the dongle is good, which it is. I noticed that the firmware-brcm80211 version on the Raspbian distro is 0.43+r...

Re: Official RPi WiFI on Native Wheezy

Thanks for your response. I'm running a minimal install of Wheezy, which I found here. Is it possible that the module isn't part of the minimal image? Apologies I'm quite new to Linux.

Official RPi WiFI on Native Wheezy

Hi Guys I've taken delivery of an official RPi wifi dongle and I'm trying to get it working with a native Wheezy install. When I try and assign a static IP address to it I get the error: "wlan0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device". I'm guessing I'm missing some drivers, but I can't ...

Re: IP Camera NVR Server

Was there any outcome to this? I'm about to embark on the same project and have similar questions: 1. What distro and software combination works best? I was looking at Arch with ZoneMinder? 2. Will a Pi B+ be man enough to handle the load? 3. I've got an HD camera and I've read that the max achievab...

Re: Wind or Solar plus Battery monitoring.

I can't help but wonder if something like this may be the way forward. After all, we might not get much sun but we do get plenty of wind.
