Re: Fixing booting of the x86 image on Macs

Hello, I have tried both methods of booting from a USB stick with Pixel and i am afraid without success, I cannot even get my old Mac Pro 1.1 to recognise that there is another boot media connected to the system. I have reset NVRAM..no difference. I think my old Mac Pro is going to be a challenge. b...

Started to look around a little more and found this thread http://askubuntu.com/questions/23936/how-do-you-administer-cups-remotely-using-the-web-interface Take a look at the last post...

Re: Unable to LISTEN on CUPS port 631

OK, I also replaced my cupsd.conf file and replaced it with the default. I added the suggestions you referred to but no real change. Local access works fine, "Connection Refused" from any other OSX system on my network. Also, tried adding the Browser statement and tried Bonjour within Safari... that...

Re: Unable to LISTEN on CUPS port 631

I am not sure what is happening on this system i have another pi set up and it works OK, but it is not at...

Hello,

Thanks for your response, ref the changes to the /etc/dhcpcd.conf file do the additional lines need to be in any specific location within the file or can i add onto the end?

I have looked up many url's that suggest ways of reconfiguring to a static IP, however when i look into the /etc/network/in...
